Boo Bags! The Ultimate Adult Trick-or-Treat
I work in a stuffy, professional office and I’d be lying if I said our office morale could be boosted especially around the holidays! As we get into my favorite time of year, spooky season, I want to make sure my coworkers are feeling the vibes as well.
I can’t decorate everyone’s cubicle with tiny pumpkins and tacky dollar tree cob webs, however, I can start a “boo bag” train that should entice some folks to play along! Me and one other colleague decided to initiate and get the game started. We sent a firm-wide email giving instructions, and a heads up on what to look for. I printed out a template with instructions (see below) to make it easier for people, and left them in the common space to grab attention. It was entirely their choice to play along, and most did, unless you’re the Grinch of Halloween and that’s none of my business. Sorry that I like to have fun and wrap things in festive ribbon any chance I get.
There’s an option to do “boo-ze bags” but I’m not sure where some of my colleagues stand and didn’t want to get tracked down by Janice in HR so alas, peanut M+M’s and a pumpkin candle would have to do the trick. I kid, there is no Janice.
Feeling like your workplace could use some Halloween excitement!?! Feel free to use the template I made and sound off in the comments with the Boo Bags that you made!
